【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwomethodsforthedeterminationofthethermalstabil-ityofproductsandcompoundsbasedonvinylchloridehomopolymersandcopolymers(referredtosimplyasPVCinthefollowingtext)bytheextentofthediscolorationthatoccurswhentheyareex-posed,Intheformofsheet,toelevatedtemper-atures.—MethodA:Oil-bathmethod—MethodB:Ovenmethod2ThesemethodsareparticularlyapplicabletothedeterminationoftheresistanceofPVCtode-gradationbyheat,asassessedbythechangeincolourafterdifferenttimesofheatingunderstand-ardizedconditions.Theresultsarecomparativeonly,andmaybeunsatisfactorywhencolouredPVCmaterialsaretested.3MethodAisasimplemethod,whichrequireslittleexpenditureonapparatusandpermitsmateri-alstobetestedalmostIntheabsenceofair.MethodBrequiresaforced-airoven,inwhichtheairflowIsadjustedtoprovideasufficientlyuniformtemperaturethroughouttheentiretestarea.Thismethodisnotapplicabletomaterialsthatwillcross-contaminateduringovenexposure.Thestabilitytimesgivenbythetwomethodsmaynotbesimilarandcannotbeusedfordirect-comparisonpurposes.
