【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthephotocatalyticactivityofsurfacesbydegradationofthedyemoleculemethyleneblue(MB)inaqueoussolutionusingartificialultraviolet(UV)radiation,andcharacterizestheabilityofphotoactivesurfacestodegradedissolvedorganicmoleculesonultravioletradiation.Thetestmethodspecifiedisalsoapplicabletoevaluationofthespecificphotocatalyticself-cleaningactivityofsurfacescoveredwithrespectivecoatings.Thismethodisnotapplicabletocharacterizingthephotoactivityofsurfacesonvisibleillumination,regardingdirectsoiling,degradationofgaseousmoleculesandthedeterminationofantimicrobialphotoactivityofsurfaces.NOTECorrelationsbetweenthesedifferentkindsofphotocatalyticactivitycan,however,exist,inparticularatsurfacesexhibitinglowphotonicefficiencies.
